So Happy!
The other day while grabbing lunch at Taco Bell, I took this picture with my phone. This picture says so much to me. We are so happy! Such a happy family! JJ sure loves his momma! And so do I!

JJ at the Fair!
This past weekend, JJ had a real treat as the Fairdale Fair set up right on our backyard! :) JJ got the opportunity to experience all the fun that fairs offer...funnel cakes, rides, balloons, and sooo many people!
On Saturday morning, JJ gathered in front of our church, ready to watch the Fairdale parade go by. Here he is waiting patiently with LoraJean and Emily. The highlight of the parade was seeing 3 of our youth playing in the Fairdale Highschool marching band!
We couldn't give up the opportunity for JJ to experience his first fair ride this year...and of course, it had to be the classic carrousel. Here he is, feeling out his horse.
Holding on and ready for the up and down, round and round movement! (Our house is literally behind that fence..that is how close we were to all the action!)
There was so much for him to look at from atop his little horse...
Our church had a booth at the fair, ready to meet people of the community and invite them to visit us. This was a nice resting spot for us! :)
JJ took home a balloon from the fair, which he enjoyed long after the fair packed up and left. We can't wait until next year!!

North Carolina Visit
A couple of weeks ago, we were blessed to be able to make a trip down to North Carolina to visit family. JJ was able to meet his pretty cousin Lilly, born just days earlier...
JJ was also able to meet his great grandparents, who live in Florida, for the first time. They immediately bonded and had such a good time together...
Of course, JJ spent some quality time with Dixie, the family dog. :)
A "cousins picture"...realizing how difficult it is to get everyone to look at the camera for these shots...
Grams loving on JJ...
Cute pic of a growing boy during his bath...
JJ loved cousin Amanda...
Playing with cousin Leah was a highlight of JJ's trip, too...
We were also able to spend some time visiting JJ's abuelitos...
And being pampered by tia Natalia...
JJ already started getting into "trouble," ripping one of the leaves off of Abuelita's violets :)
We visited Abuelitos' new church, where Josh was able to preach on Sunday morning...
And right before heading back to Kentucky, we stopped by Abuelito's place of work, The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association...
We always leave NC, feeling so humbled and blessed by God with such a loving and generous family. We love you all and hope to see you all soon. JJ misses you all already! Come visit us now!
We will leave you all with a short video of JJ's first ride on a 4-wheeler with daddy...thanks to uncle Vinnie and cousin Patrick. :)
